front end removed (which is pretty much a necessity to do the timing belt service, along with a $200 special alignment tool to keep the gears from slipping), you are very hard pressed to be able to see the turbos. Not to mention all the common electrical problems you get with most German engineered cars. The only way I would own any VW/Audi product is if it was under warranty, and sold or turned back in from lease before the warranty was up.
